My new shave cave

Moved
to a new house. Wife and girls wanted the bigger john, leaving me with this one which I prefer. Not totally unpacked but the basics are set up.

Yeah, toilet seat is wrong size for the can. Haven't dealt with that yet.

A taller cabinet above the toilet would hold more products.... Just sayin

 

True, the wife has one but I fit about the same amount of stuff in that long box I've lugged between three houses now.

 

So I went to price commode sets (cover, seat and rug). Decent ones, which are still cheaply made, are at least $20 and with no colors I liked. The one in the pic is mint Woolworth's stock from the late '70s, in Avocado no less. Got it for $25 shipped off the Bay. US made and very good quality compared with what I could have bought at Target. I'm quite happy with it. And yeah, the color is really nice. Plush, too, IYKWIM.

 

I bet, it looks soft. They just don't make things like they used to.

 

A shave cave, now that's a nice idea. As is not having to share a bathroom.
