  1. Beautiful! :happy096: The Cobra is one "Sharp Squeegee" huh??? ;)
  2. :happy102:Thank you and yes it is a very sharp squeegee.
  3. Today's shave
Hot water wash with nivea mens face wash and a washcloth
    Olivewood/ two band finest
    Route 66 A Perfect Gent
Bismarck 5/8 full hollow square end
Route 66 A Perfect Gent balm
Today's shave was nice. Church today, no time to post. Great lather with my GDCarrington weighted olivewood brush and route 66. Three passes with the bismarck. Sort of a comparison with the bunny. I got a good shave today. Not great, and not as close as the bunny from yesterday. In fairness, ive done better with the straight. But the injector with a new blade was a great shave. I finished with the matching balm.
Hope y'all did as well, or better.

  10. I've been wanting to try a shave with this Christy razor for some time now and today I gave it a go. I started with a NOS blade and almost completed my first pass before I gave up. I pulled that blade and loaded a Schick blade. It held OK , not as tight as I would like but I finished 2 more passes with no problems and the results were very good! So yes you can shave with your Christy razor. Afterwards I tightened up the head and now it holds the blade nice and snug. I'm going to be using it on a regular basis now. I hope everyone is enjoying a peaceful Sunday!

  11. My SOTD

    Razor - Gillette red tip
Blade - Gillette platinum plus (6)
    Brush - kenzo reknotted badger
    Soap - tabac
    Post - neutrogena
    A/s - lime sec

Good shave this morning. I felt a slight sting from the aftershave but not bad for a 5 pass shave. Why so many? Well my beard grows 4 different ways around the neck. So I'm always having to do extra there. But I'm a happy camper!

    Happy shaving gents!
  12. Thank you Amigo.

3 and a half days of growth taken down by the X3 effortlessly. Once you get the angle with this razor it cuts like a dream. It's so mild it hardly feels like it's touching your face but it just wipes away whiskers. Paired with a GSB and it's a silky smooth shave. If you are thinking about getting the X3, do it. It is a bargain at the price it is selling for. Have a great day my friends!

  15. How would you describe the scent in comparison with Proraso green? :)
  16. Razor: Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip TV Special (D2)
    Blade: Personna Platinum (3)
    Brush: Omega Professional 10098 Boar
Soap: TSD 2x Iced Oakmoss Sandalwood
    Aftershave: Myrsol Agua Balsamica
Excellent 3 passes with a minor touchup. I'm really surprised at how much I enjoy this razor and blade combination. I'm getting very close comfortable shaves every time.

  17. Yeah, I like that dog too. The A/S, I apply the gel to soften and kinda seal my skin, then about 15/20 mins., later, I use the Brut for the aroma. Seems to work for me. Regards.

  18. Very nice post, well written, short and to the point, and the photo is top drawer. BTW, the mug looks like one of mine, a large soup bowl got at Walmart, that I like a lot. Regards.

  19. Random razor draw

    *Fatboy
    *Timor blade (meh)
    *vintage Campbell's cream concentrate

    2 pass DFS+

Don't like this blade much. Reminds me of Derby.

*alum block & Barbasol green a/s

So am I the last shave for the week?
