Had my third shave with my wedge that I honed last week. I had 3 full days to mow down. It did it with ease. This was my smoothest yet of the 3. I finished with Aluminum block to see if there was any irritation. Zero, Zip, Nada. Mostly BBS except the jaw line. That was better today than Thursday. That edge just glows in the light. Now if I can repeat that hone on my other blades.

Got this J.A Henckels Rapide inbound. So Excited! Any suggestions on who to send the blades off to for honing?

Congratulations! The Henckels Rapide is a great razor, very similar to the original Ernst Scharff Rapide except for a larger knurled handle. The two Henckels Twin Works blades appear to be in excellent condition. Those are Solingen steel and hone up really nicely. I don't know anyone who can hone them for you. I hone my own (sorry, I have a big backlog of my own blades - I can only use my Wilkinson Empire 7 Day Set on Monday and Tuesday :( ).

(I was watching that one but I wasn't bidding against you .)

Magnificent shave this morning with the PAL Adj.. Amici shave soap provided bountiful, slick, cushiony lather with a lovely scent. A very pleasurable experience. Three easy breezy passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :)

There is a Lot of the Guys over on the SR Section that Hone their Own SRs..Some of the Guys that Hone SRs May be a Bit Reluctant to Hone them Just because they Haven't Done it Before..Just Inform them that these SE Blades get Honed the Exact Same Way as an SR...One Layer of Tape or No Tape..Flat on the Hone..That's It..There is No Difference..The Only Thing I will Say is these Blades Can Sometimes take as Long as an SR to Hone so it May Cost You a Sorta Similar Price..You Wont Regret it..:)

Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Lather: Maggards Orange Menthol
Post: Witch hazel splash, Maggards Orange Menthol splash, Nivea sensitive balm

Nice shave this morning with the PAL Injecto-Matic. Quick and efficient shaving. The Orange Menthol products provided a nice cooling effect. I've enjoyed trying out this razor on a pass-around and look to send it off to the next recipient. Thanks again, Tom!

Hope you have a great day!

A great shave to start the work week. The CH2 Synthetic whipped up a rich slick lather with no problems. Going with a 3 pass shave and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. Finished up with a splash of Fine Platinum. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Thanks. I put all my WH and AS in the travel spray bottles. I find I don't waste so much as when I have to pour from a bottle.

Brrrrrrr! Freezing cold shave today to celebrate Menthol Monday. This Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo is fantastic! Great scent, slick, easy to lather and it's freezing cold. The PAL performed flawlessly today. Three passes and I'm completely smooth. No feedback from the alum, the Osage Rub chilled me down even further and the bombed Florida Water took it over the edge. Have a great day folks!
