    Saturday Shave
    [IMG]
    Brush- AOS Fine Badger
    Razor- PAL adjustable
    Blade- Precision ER Products/Schick
    Soap- Stirling Barbershop
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    Stirling Barbershop Aftershave

I don't know who they marketed these ER blades to but I feel sorry for them. Absolutely horrible, it felt like I was scraping my face off. I thought maybe I loaded the blade wrong and loaded another. It was equally horrible. I got half my face done and switched to a Schick blade, much better, I finished BBS. This was also my first try with a badger brush, @wmbjr sent me this wonderful brush and I really liked it. It loaded easily, lathered great plus it felt good on my face. Everything else worked great. Finished up with the Stirling Barbershop aftershave and feel great. Have a great day folks!

The Pal Adjustable was my first injector razor, and almost 50 years later it's still my favorite. I've never heard of the blades, but they remind me of a recent experience with some NOS Personna Precision blades, not to be repeated. Under a microscope the blade edge looked like a rip-saw. I've gotten better shaves from hardware store SE blades.

I'm glad I tried them. My brother in-law is flying in tomorrow and I'm setting him up with a Schick Type G, RazoRock Plissoft brush, IB Amici soap and I was going to give him these blades. I'm going to give him my last set of Chinese Schicks instead. I would have hated starting him off with these blades.

I love it so far. I got a week or so ago, and have used it mostly since. Even though I have acquired a few razors recently, I am actually working on identifying the ones I really want, so I am trying to spend the rest of the year shaving with each one and really focusing on the differences in shaves between each. This was one of those razors I had always wanted to try, so it is getting a lobg trial. So far, it is in the keeper column. :happy088:

I agree 100% with you. I tried them this morning, I think I'd rather use a belt sander over these blades.

    Today's Shave: Saturday August 13, 2016

    PAL Injecto-Matic (British made)
    NOS Personna 74 (4)
    The Grooming Co. synthetic brush
    Stirling Electric Sheep soap
    Old Spice aftershave

I usually do a 3 pass shave and then touch up a couple of trouble spots. Today I discovered that with this razor/blade combo I can skip the 3rd pass entirely. Two passes plus a little touch-up here and there and I have a near perfect BBS Shave. :happy036:

    The PAL Injecto-Matic rocks!

Razor: Personna Injector w/ Chick blade
    Lather: Barbasol Arctic Chill
Post: Barbasol Brisk and an ice cold root beer

Wonderful shave with my new Personna Injector razor. Despite being the most mold Injector razor i have used (with the exception of the Schick Adjustable at a low setting), it was very efficient. In 3 passes and not a single cleanup stroke left my face smooth. The Barbasol Arctic Chill was simple, easy, and provided great cushion and glide. I toned down the Barbasol Brisk splash with some witch hazel because it's burn is a little much for me, even with an irritation free shave. It left me cool and refreshed. Then I enjoyed a great IBC Root Beer that the wife picked up. It has been a wonderful Saturday. Enjoy your weekend and your shaves to come!

Wow! You should try some scrubbing bubbles on that razor. It'll do wonders!

Hey, I always mess up my posts due to spell check on this darn phone. Technology can be very troublesome.

You should have seen some of the texts I've sent my wife in the past. I've cursed her out and all I was trying to say was have a nice day!
