Nice haul! SC Renewal is a awesome Fougere scent. I'm still waiting for either Drive or Fortutude to come back, both sound like great scents, and good performance from all SC products. Enjoy!

Picked up my third Schick Injector (and first Adjustable):

An M3 "Protector", if I've understand correctly.

Ended up getting it cheap, partly because of a bad description and partly because it looks like a puppy got to the end of the handle at some point.

Just arrived, to store my two Kamisori razors in. Until the other box arrives.

 

I love the look of frameback razors. These just arrived from France and look like they will clean up nicely.

 

Two things arrived today. My tin from the TSD raffle, and my Tuxedo 24mm knot. It's a beautiful knot. I have just the handle for it. My new JR#90.

My left-handed Kanenaga Kamisori arrived from Tokyo today. I was not impressed with the edge out of the box, and had to do a good bit of work on the Chosera 1K to get a somewhat even bevel. A full Naniwa progression, followed by a .5 micron diamond stropping and a few laps on the leather has it scary sharp now. I have a band-aid on my left index finger to prove it. Caught it on the heel of the razor, which as you can see in the pics is more of a concern while shaving than the toe, which came slightly muted.

 

You should see it in real life. It is gorgeous.

 

It's a good looking razor. I look forward to hearing how it shaves.

 

My Rolls Razor showed up today! Very interesting razor and it's in very good condition. It has two blades and both are in great shape. The hone and strop are also in great condition. I'm going to spend some time this weekend cleaning it up. I'm hopeful one of the blades sharpens up good enough to shave with. I'm really excited about this razor.

 

I received this nice old brush, the knot will have to go, and a nice Windrose handle bamboo style.

 

I have the same brush, love it. I thought I'd yank the knot, salvage the handle. But for some reason, I washed it out and used it. Its still ugly, but wow it works very nicely. So if your not squeamish, give it a wash-up and try it out. It may suprise you, it did me.

 

I'm giving a soaking now to see .... Initially it just seemed so stiff and brittle to work well. I'm going to give it a go! Thanks buddy!
