That blade must be sharp, as it has cut into your soap box!

:happy097:..Yeah..Its Sharp..I Honed it & the Steel is Very Hard but it has a Soft Component to It as Well..Never Felt Steel like this on the Hone Before..Its Very Sharp but a Very Forgiving & Comfortable Shaver..Different from Swedish, Solingen, Sheffield & Japanese Steel Blades..:)

Soap: Henri et Victoria-Cognac & Cuban Cigars
    Razor: Gillette Fat Boy
Blade: 70’s Gillette Spoiler Super Stainless (4)

Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars today. 20 seconds to load the new H et V HMW. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars aftershave.

    Astra SP
    Arko
    Stirling 24mm Synthetic
Lime AS & Nivea Sensitive ASB

Good Morning Friends! Every once in a while its good to go back to one of your baseline components to evaluate the shaves you've been getting. I did that this morning by going back to the beloved Astra SP. WOW what a difference a blade can make. Comparing the Astra SP to the Personna lab blue is like comparing a steak knife to a butter knife IMHO, YMMV. As usual I got a super slick lather from the Arko and the Shake Sharp still sung its sweet song. It was kind of odd getting the loud audible feedback from the Shake Sharp while getting no tactile feedback on the skin from the blade. With a lesser blade I have a tendency to put more pressure on the the skin but with an Astra I can just let the blade glide over the cushion and slickness of the lather leaving no whiskers in its path. After 3 passes I am BBS and there was not a hint of feedback from the alum. My homemade Lime AS left my skin feeling great and mmmm mmmm I love the scent of lime! Have a great day my friends!

    Osage Rub/Witch Haze w/aloe
M&L Florida Water Cologne w/added menthol

Day #4 with the Treet 7 Days blade and another smooth, close and comfortable shave. This blade feels like new and is doing pretty darn well I think. Plenty of face freezing products this morning too. Great start to the day. Now go enjoy your day folks.

It felt great to use my Super Speed which was loaded with a brand-new Astra. The Glacial Wintergreen soap lathered so thick, rich, and slick with its almost painfully-cold freeze. The matching balm, witch hazel, and Arctique aftershave splash were a most delightful end to such a terrific BBS shave! :happy088: :happy088:

    Razor: Cart Handle ?
    Blade: Generic Atra (1)
    Lather: Williams
    Brush: VDH
    Pre Shave Oil: Homemade
    A/S: Gillette Gel/Brut

An easy 1 pass/detailed clean up, one nick on my neck, styptic took care of it. Cold water rinse, AS, somewhere near DFS +. satisfied, with more experience with this razor, I should be able to improve to a BBS. Best wishes to all.

The soap is arko stick and yardley bath soap melted and mixed. The soap combo is slick.. Between the $1 arko and $1 yardley. This was as slick as sterling soap. The post shave was great. The downside it smells like arko. Lol which isn't a bad smell..
What a wonderful shave using my Sheraton and a new Astra sp. . There was some burn to the after shave but it's ok. Happy shaving gents!
