  4. Finding that the PAL adjustable, works quite well with a cream as opposed to soap. As I frequently rinse my razor, clogging up is not a problem.

Excellent shave with the PAL Adj. this morning loaded with a "Dutch Dangleberries" blade. Lovely scented, slick, rich lather from the PAA CiderHouse5 shave soap. Three easy breezy passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :)
  8. This morning was shave#7 with a Chinese Schick in the PAL adjustable and it's just beginning to show signs that it's time to replace the blade. I'll go for shave #8 tomorrow.

Had a darn fine shave with this excellent looking razor. The teeth look vicious, just waiting to eat through some facial hair. Kept the angle low (cap flat on face) and the pressure and it treated me just right. Near perfect BBS in three passes. Just one small weeper on the neck from losing the angle for a second. Facing my day smelling like a classic man and with a clean face. Have a great day everyone!
  10. That micromatic is a darn fine shaver. It's a bit aggressive, but gives wonderful shaves after some practice. I would never part with mine. Whiteboy, it's a keeper! Enjoy!

  13. I didn't think it to be more aggressive than the clog pruf, but they are both MicroMatics so I guess that makes sense. I love them both

    Brush- AOS Fine Badger
    Razor- Schick Adjustable/PAL Adjustable
    Blade- Schick Twin/Chinese Schick
Soap- Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    Old Spice Lime

Another great shave today with these two adjustables. I used the PAL for the right side today and the Schick for the left. No big difference between the two. The PAL was a little smoother on the first pass through the heavy growth. The Schick pulled slightly again but it wasn't bad. After three passes I was BBS all over, 9 hours later I'm still BBS and no difference between the two sides. I would be thrilled using either of these combos, they both produce great shaves. The Stirling and Old Spice combo was pleasant and I got a few compliments on it. Have a great day folks!
