So had your little competition spurred your desire to get a Schick Adjustable or has it quenched that desire ?

I'm getting such similar results from the two of than that I can probably live without one. If twin blades were easy to find I'd consider one. I'm going to try a regular Chinese Schick in it next and see how that works.

The looks of the PAL Adj. alone make it a clear winner brother. :D

When it's my turn to try out the Schick adjustable, I'm going to do the same comparison as @ob1page between my PAL and the Schick with a single blade. To me, that's apples to apples.

I'll be doing that next shave. I'm very curious on the differences between the twin and the regular Schick blade.

I had 3 days to deal with tonight. This blade did not disappoint. I had a DFS to BBS. If I only had 1 razor, this would be on my very short list of consideration.

    Today's Shave: Wednesday August 24, 2016

    Cobra Classic
    Feather Artist Club Professional (10)
    The Grooming Co. synthetic brush
Chiseled Face Groomatorium Summer Storm soap & aftershave

Shave #10 with the Feather AC Pro blade. Still a great shave, but seems to be losing that extra something that makes this razor/blade combo special. I'll probably go one more shave and toss it (the blade, not the razor :shocked003: ).

    The Holy Grail. :happy108:

Sadly, I only have the single package of five blades, so here is my dilemma: what razor to use with them? Here are my favorite injectors (in no particular order): Schick E2 (early model), PAL Adjustable, PAL Injecto-Matic, and my new Single Edge by Supply Provision. I also have a couple of Schick G's as well as some later Schicks, but I don't like them as much. (I also have a Bunny that I like a lot, but it seems to do just fine with the Chinese Schick blades.)

So, which of my "fab four" favorites would provide the closest thing to Shaving Enlightenment loaded with one of these Dutch Schick blades? :signs002:

That's a Hard One I Guess Cause its Personal I Suppose...But for What its Worth I have Found the PAL Adjustable & PAL Injecto-Matic Don't Really Improve with NOS Blades Over the Chick Blades...The G Type will be Transformed with the Dutch Blades & the Type E 2 as Well..Never Used the Single Edge by Supply Division but they May Turn Up the Volume a Bit as I Have Heard it Said that they aren't the Most Aggressive Shavers..In Short..I Find that they Transform Any Schick Injector..:)

Some of the Other Guys will Have Thoughts on the "Dutch Danglies Blades" as Well..:angelic007:

Magnificent shave this morning with the PAL Injecto-Matic fitted with a Dutch Danglies blade. Wonderful lather from the Tabac shave stick. Slick, rich, and lovely scent. Three passes and I am dolphin smooth and refreshed. Have a great day friends. :)

Well, I've never used the Dutch danglies before, so this is just my initial thought... Go with the type E.

Thanks Billy....I'm sure there are other cats around here having the same conundrum....

For me, I think....that with these blades....any of these razors will be a sure thing....But if priorites and efficientcy are of an utmost importance....
Then any words from our Party Thread Librarian should not be taken lightly....

 It is a looker...and a monster shaver....But my vote is for having both....Just for those times when you don't want to compare apples to apples and you have some twin-schick blades laying around...:happy108: Then that Schick Adjustable or a nice vintage I1 would sure come in handy....:shaver.....Besides....isn't having more razors always better anyway....:eatdrink047:.

    (Hows that for enabling?)

I have them both and I agree with you. I will say that even though I enjoy the Schick Adj. with a twin blade I'll take the N1 with a twin over it any day. :)

Thanks for your input. I guess I'm leaning toward the E2.

I just realized that my Injecto-Matic and The Single Edge are both currently loaded with Personna 74's. Might make for an interesting comparison.

I'm interested in the comparison of those two blades in your InjectoMatic

Good question - I've only used them in my D and F where they are superb. I'd suggest NOT using them in the PAL Injecto Matic as I have tried various other NOS blades in it and, like the Bunny, found I couldn't improve on the Schick pairing. YMMV, of course.
