    Personna Lab Blue [ 5 ]
    Alum Rub/Rinse off
    Massimo Dutti A/S lotion

After a rather poor shave with this Razor Yesterday, determined to make amends. Using a dependable soap,I ensured
that I did not rush and shaved with care. Result a very smooth and comfortable shave with an excellent all round close finish , even though the blade perhaps past its optimum
I can end my short DE rotation, safe in the knowledge that I got a good shave with each of those tried, despite not having use them in a while.

    Menthol Monday
Excellent shave today with Mike's Hungarian Lavender and Casablanca aftershave. The Bronze Shadow almost instantly made yogurty lather to set up my stubble for two drama free passes on six with my Futur. Casablanca added a little menthol to the slight cooling of Myrsol, leaving my face very smooth and comfortable. My wife said I smell yummy - nothing wrong with that.
    Prep: Myrsol Emulsion
    Soap: Mike's Hungarian Lavender
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
    Razor: Merkur Futur 6-6
    Blade: Voskhod
    AS: Casablanca

    My monday-morning-shave:

    Preshave:
    Proraso Crema Pre Barba white
Lather: Le Père Lucien Traditional (Sample)
Brush: Plisson Synthetic Bleu Nuit Satiné
    Razor: Merkur 34C
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (2)
    Aftershave: Speick Men ASL

A great shave with a wonderful soap. Good and rich lather, also a great smell of french herbs. The smell is not to strong, it's just perfect. A good french soap, also a brush from a traditional french factory and a handcrafted Solinger razor from Germany - A perfect connection between 2 friendly nations in Europe. It was a great pleasure this morning :happy005:

    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: Semogue 1520 boar
    Lather: TSD Barber Shoppe
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Iced Barber Shoppe, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG

I had three days' growth to mow through and it wasn't the easiest shave I've had. This is just the second shave with the PAL Adjustable, on pass-around from @Karl G. Beautiful razor, but my shaves with it haven't been the best. I'm sure that is due to unfamiliarity. I'll try again tomorrow most likely with better results.

    Have a great day!

Let me say that when the menthol effect of the Glacial Wintergreen soap hits, it HITS - it's so strong that it feels almost painful even during the first pass. By the second pass your face feels like it's going to fall off, but like with all the Stirling soaps it gives such a wonderful moisturizing and soothing post-shave feeling. The matching balm and with hazel have that same frigid feeling and the Arctique aftershave splash is in a class by itself. My Parker R22 with a new Astra blade cleaned me up so BBS and so easily. A big shout-out to my Plissoft synthetic because it's the best brush I've used up to now! :happy088: :happy088:

Let me guess...the Plissoft makers wanted the emphasis to be on SOFT, right?
