The straight coconut oil has let me down over the last few very hot days. So, until it cools off at least, I'm using Arm & Hammer Naturals / unscented.
@richgem I have been using the coconut oil religiously sense you turned me on to it. I apply in the morning before work and at night after work. It is fantastic. No rashes at all. It is over 100 this last week snd it is still working great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It really seems to work. I have always had a terrible problem with pit rash with any deodorant. The coconut oil is a Godsend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes. I have tried almost everything out there. Antiperspirants and deodorants. I can use some for a few weeks then I get terrible rashes that take a few weeks to clear up. The coconut oil I have not gotten a rash yet. It smells decent to boot. I have not noticed any real oder even when extremely sweaty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just picked up something new...Schmidt's Bergamot Lime natural deodorant. It feels a little gritty while you put it on but it kind of warms up with your body heat and smooths out nicely. Seems to perform just fine and smells very nice.
Thai natural salt deodorant. I recommend it if you're not a super sweaty person. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
That name brand of New Spice is probably the one the best brings the user back to the original Old Spice. I like Fiji bottled water-nice and refreshing.
well, I'm switching deodorants AGAIN........something went wrong with my last Every Man Jack use.....it's back to more traditional for me. I'll update when I make my choice. Stay tuned....
How are you mixing in the EO? The coconut oil works great for no reactions. It would be nice to have a scent added. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I melt the coconut oil in its container in a lower-setting microwave. (Coconut oil melts at 75F.) And just before it's completely melted, I take it out and give it a stir to homogenize the liquid. Add in whatever EO you care to (a couple drops will be plenty). Stir again and either pop the mixture into the fridge for a fast set up or just let it harden up on the counter. You may want to work the microwave in bursts depending on the setting you use and how much oil you need to melt. If you want to avoid "fun with the microwave," you can just immerse the coconut oil container in hot water until it's all melted. edit: beware that some container seals contain a mylar backing which will spark the microwave if the seal is not completely removed from the mouth of the container.
