How's Your Day? September 2016

Coming up on my favorite time o' year!!!

 

Just working on my plans for world domination. Otherwise, not much going on.

 

Just had blood drawn for lab work and expecting good results. Otherwise counting down the hours until the college football season kicks off for real! Go Gamecocks!

 

If that critter can't take over the world, I just don't know who can!

 

Gotta say it looks awesome. You certainly pull that mad scientist/penguin look off very well!

 

The hubby is feeling reasonably well, under the circumstances. So I took him out to the craft store (I wanted some stuff & he just likes to look at all the colors) and then for Carvel ice cream.

 

The Earth was not invaded by space aliens
No catastrophic earthquakes today
No mass extinction events

So my day is going pretty well.

 

How do you know the aliens didn't just wipe those events from your memory after their... exam...?

 

The space aliens were here a couple of weeks ago. They kidnapped me and replaced me with a better archer.

 

No smoldering ruins, no charred wasteland, no politicians blaming one another for the flying saucer issues, and - most of all - no space alien reality show on TV.

I went out for an early shoot, while the day was cool. I had the pleasant surprise of good company- another member of our club, who had the same idea. Then, home to hang with the hubby.

 

Quiet. Except for the fans, of course.

 

I went to my first-ever Oktoberfest last night and tried jaegermeister for the first time.

 

Ugh.... How'd that go for ya? I haven't drank that stuff since I was a teenager.

 

Meh. I wasn't impressed.

 

I wasn't impressed with it either, though it's been thirty years since I tried it.

 

No.

 

I spent a good part of the afternoon doing some screen printing. I enjoy it, but don't do it that often, because of the involved set-up & clean-up Anyway, here is what I printed;


I made 20 of these, to be part of my New Year cards.

 

Looks nice already!
