Feelings aside and looking at it objectively (it's hard for me..). In no particular order: Tabac Phoenix & Beau Wickham 1912 Razorock (not all their variants...) I Coloniali The Blue is plain awesome! Scent is intoxicating and performance is stellar. An easy love-able cream to live with. I somehow seem to prefer Proraso in cream form over soap form, performance-wise. Dunno why.

In first place by far is anything from Chiseled Face Groomatorium, which includes their pre-shaves, shaving soaps, aftershave, and even their new bath soaps. 1) Chiseled Face Groomatorium - any and all of the fragrances 2) Taylor of Old Bond Street - Jermyn Street is my favorite thus far 3) Mitchell's Wool Fat
These are the five best currently produced soaps for me, in the order shown. Although ranked, they are all pretty close together at the top of the heap. Sego Lily The Soap Opera Himalaya Shave Soap Mitchell's Wool Fat Institut Karite Mike's Natural Just thinking for a moment about how well these soaps work for me, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep looking for more.
The soap base for R66 is a fine as anything, mass market or niche, that I've yet tried. Super easy to work, tolerates hard water, doesn't break down, super slick... You're in for a treat.
1) Santa Maria Novella V.3 2) Nuavia Rossa/Blu 3) iColoniali 4) Mystic Water Vétiver & Oakmoss 5) Tabula Rasa Tangerine & Vetiver
My top three stand out pretty well for me: 1- Stirling 2- Soap Commander 3- Chiseled Face I could see Route 66 edging it's way in there. Tabac is up there for performance too, and is a mainstay in the winter.

Not a huge difference... to be quite frank I grow tired of all these reformulations. MWF has been the same for over 100 years and yet these new companies change recipes every few years. I do enjoy the fact that they are trying to make the soap better but it is already so good in the first place that the minor improvement is not worth discontinuing the old line. Now if they offered the new line and kept the old line I would be fine with that, it is when they elliminate the "old" recipe that I get upset. PannaCrema Namaste is perfect the way it is, there is no need for reformulation.
