What are you listening to?

These two men were masters of country swing in the '50s and '60s. Their interplay was almost telepathic and their soloing was top tier. Amazing music.

 

Just saw Gary Puckett perform in June. Along with a slew of other nostalgia acts...The Turtles, The Cowsills, Chuck Negron from Three Dog Night, etc. Great show!

A couple weeks ago I saw a Marvin Gaye tribute soul singer (Brian Owens), and he & his band did the entire "What's Going On" album. It was amazing.

Vrehi Sti Ftohogitonia, (Rain in the Neighborhood) composed by Mikis Theodorakis and sung by Gerasimos Andreatos. This song is an old personal favorite of mine and makes me so nostalgic for Thessaloniki, Greece where I lived for 15 years before I moved to Canada.
