1. I normally don't use in a can shaving creams like the rest of you for DE shaving but sometimes I'm on the road or in a hurry and so I'm looking for a shave cream...and a link to where I can buy it...that is super lubricating, slick, moist, like butter, or whatever you want to call it that won't dry out on my skin...for the length of the shave...after it is properly hydrated.

The best I've found so far Nivea For Men Skin Essentials. Shaving Gel skin guard. Moisturizing...protects against dryness...normal to dry skin.

This is the best I've found off the shelf. If anyone knows of anything better please let me know! Thanks my friends!
  2. :happy102 I one time was travelling to Europe, and I had my brush, a/shave, DE, but strangely enough no shaving soap or cream with me. Do you folks know what I lathered up with? Well, there was a bar of Dove soap in the hotel bathroom! ;) For ten days, that's what I used, and it was not so bad at all. It sure works better than any canned stuff.
  3. + 140 00000000

I have the same Nivea Gel (for dry skin) and it's amazing; nice scent to boot
  4. Thanks JayKay for the link...it isn't too expensive so I'll give it a try.
  5. The only canned stuff I can really say I like is Proraso foam, and even that, just once in a very blue moon!

  6. I hear you crackstar...Dove soap can give you a lot of lather. Sometimes when you have to make do with what you have it works. Although right now I'm looking for a cream that is slick, lubricating beyond belief and won't dry out until the END OF THE SHAVE! Hard to find!
  7. Good Stuff but not lubricating enough!
  8. Proraso is the best in their A/S but their foam is not lubricaqting enough.
  9. I think you can find some reviews of the anthony logistics cream in the review section here. There seem to be a good bunch of people who love the stuff for traveling. You can use it with or without a brush so I hear.
  10. Edge Therapy gel 9unscented) is really slick
  11. I don't use the Proraso foam often, and I haven't yet tried their aftershave.

  12. I would also recommend Speick but I don't know where to get it in the US...

  13. That's the problem...I can't find a place to order it in the U.S. either!
  14. Burts Bees makes a brushless that is nice and slick doesn't dry either. Good smell too. Drys out on the skin quick so you kinda have to do one side then the other.
