I want to use the same shaving soap for most of October. I'll allow myself an occasional sidebar with Mitchell's on Fridays and perhaps something else to break the monotony a little bit, but otherwise hope to use the same soap throughout the month.

Vote in the poll and help me decide which to use! Feel free to reply and let me know your choice. I'll go with the soap which receives the most votes!

    Thanks for your help!

I've vote for La Toja shave stick, however I would reconsider choosing a Tabac Shaving Stick both are fantastic soaps.

That's a hard one. I went with Stirling, but could have easily gone Soap Commander. No matter how it comes out, you will have a good month.

I only have a small remnant of a Tabac shave stick. It's a little too small to hold and rub on my face. I didn't include it in the poll. I'm going to press it into a container and load it with a brush at some point.

Then get yourself a Tabac soap instead of a stick ;)

I need to use up some other soaps first!

I went with the Stirling because I think the scent is nice enough that I wouldn't mind using it for a moth straight.

The scent is nice and the performance is top-notch as well!

I don't think that I could live with La Toja or Proraso white for a month straight. Though they are nice scents they are rather faint and unexciting, I would get bored after a few shaves I think.

It will take some patience to use a soap for an extended time. I wanted to try this for several months now and finally decided to go for it. We'll see how it goes!

I could see myself doing it with my Stirling Executive Man, Blades Grim Smolder, IB Amici, or Tabac. But none of my other soaps honestly. I may try this for No Variance November.

I did 30 shaves with Proraso Green. No complaints; always whipped into a slick lather.

I picked stirling. They are among my top soaps, plus their barbershop scent is a classic.

I would give soap commander the "honorable mention," but I think the barbershop would be a better scent to go with for a straight month.

I hear ya, stirling has an excellent rep. What ive tried has been jam up.
But with the choices provided, and being linked to the choice for a month, i went sc. The stirling barbershop (ive only had the asb) had a smokeyness that was quite pleasant, but i wouldn't want it for everyday use prolonged. But thats just me.

Well, my vote(Stirling Barbershop)was meant only in the sense that I have its BATH soap, not shave. But I do expect to use that a lot in the coming month.
