Got a butt-kicking gift from a co-worker today! He bought a new computer, and it came free with the order; he had no use for it, so he gave it to me. Been thinking about buying one, but couldn't justify the expense, because I had no practical use for it myself. Not sure what I'm gonna make, but I'm excited to play with my new toy.

Looks like fun.

Didn't get much sleep last night/this morning, as I took my Mom to the ER here. Her various tests proved negative(catscan included), but she was left to wonder why it happened in the first place(two falls in the bathroom). It was a looooooooooong wait in the ER- busy for a Sunday night. Then this morning, I changed my bed linens to the fall/winter set. It's time, even though tomorrow may be in the 70's here. Probably won't see any more humidity. Off to a workout this evening.

Hoping all is well with your mom. Said a quick prayer.

Thanks. Today, I was able to get out and run some errands on my own. (As the boot was on my right foot, I couldn't drive.). It felt so good!! Later today, I will be off to the archery range.

About my day... On an otherwise fine autumn day:

Apparently someone obtained my CC number and such, and was able to set up an Uber account and buy $2k worth of airline tickets before I got a fraud call. It's been resolved, but wasted quite a bit of time today.

That's always irritating when it occurs. It's happened to me or family members about three times.
