I like to wet a shave towel with water and sprinkle Osage Rub on it, then "rub" down all over. This is especially gratifying after a Texas Summer day.
I use a 50/50 mix of Osage and Skin Bracers. This is called "Green Goddess" and is top notch! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
It smells like Absorbine Jr., but the scent doesn't last long. The sent was not near as pleasant for me as other aftershaves. Scent wasn't as offensive when used in my hair on a hot day. I can't use it anymore. I forgot to wash my hands once, and had an itch. This stuff is freaking cold, and helped me get a CT.
I'm a new member of TSD, and as such, take my first post award and interest in AS posts very seriously. So now I'm too lazy to google this, but are Osage rub and pinaud Jeri's hair tonic the same stuff?
Welcome to TSD! Osage Rub and Jeris Hair Tonic are not the same thing, although I will put some Osage on my scalp.
Cool. I'm very interested now in trying Osage rub as both an after shave and hair/scalp tonic. I like the idea of the cold blast and I'm curious now. Thanks for the quick answer...Glad to see such an active group. I'm enjoying listening and learning...This is cool lol.
I keep hearing praises about Florida water...curious about that too. This could get out of hand lol...I've got to tell myself to try one thing at a time! Unless, of course, it's tall, athletic blondes....
I found Osage to smell identical to stuff my mom used on us kids for sore muscles. If memory serves me it was labeled horse linament or maybe my mom just called it that? Either way I don't like the scent...
