Not at all. I myself find shadows and negative space to be integral to taking Android snaps for my SOTD & POTD photos. I know there are some folks here that have gone all out using high end cameras. Some times I get lucky and through tricks of the light, and a bit of photo manipulation using a 15 year old version of JASC Paint Shop Pro I can approximate the great gear photography of our Pros here at TSD.

Like the effort. Wholly disagree with that philosophy. Truth is quantifiable and knowable. Delusion is a choice.
I've heard, "You can have your own opinion, but not your own truth." I enjoy word play as the shading of concepts can be expressed but not fully comprehend from the speaker to the listener.
