that it is. I expect it to be a "go-to" purchase all year(whatever I choose).

That was an easy choice... Stirling Barbershop has the best performance for my face so it is the clear winner.

A couple of days left to vote in the poll, but Stirling looks to be the clear favorite. Because of that I went ahead and placed an order for Stirling Barbershop after shave splash as well as a green Stirling container with new label. The soap is currently in an unmarked tin and I want to put it in a better container. Thanks for playing along!

I'm already using(and enjoying)the aftershave splash, as well as the first of my two bath soaps(also barbershop).

I'm not sure if you are into aftershave, but the proraso would lend itself to any aftershave you want. It seems like the other soaps may have a scent that would not blend well with some aftershaves.

is that because of its name...Proraso WHITE? Sounds pretty "neutral".

It is pretty neutral. I love the scent of Proraso White, and really all the Proraso soaps.

I've found that Stirling Barbershop soap goes quite well with Mennen Skin Bracer. The powdery notes interact well. But I've got Stirling Barbershop splash on order so I can have an exact match!

It's pretty neutral with a very slight citrus for freshness that would blend well with an aftershave that has either citurs, or woody notes. I can think of lots of options for aftershave that would work well with this soap.

I made a mistake in ordering the Stirling Barbershop in the middle of summer. The fragrance and feel are just now coming into their own. I'll let Lemon Chill take care of me in the summers :).

The only one I know there is the Proraso White.

Good for sensitive skin, and the green tea smell is actually quite nice, though maybe a bit mild.

    Good stuff though.

Do yourself a favor and go to stirlingsoap.com

Samples are 2.75 each and last FOREVER. Get a few. They also sell aftershave samples @4 for 10.

Shipping is always a flat $3.95.

Their synthetic brushes have outperformed my $150 badgers by a mile. Their $12.99 slant outperforms $50+ razors easily.

Oh yea...they also ship super fast and have great customer service. They have sent me a free sample every single tine i have ordered from them.

    Update on Stirling Barbershop!

I have used Stirling four times this week, all with nice success. The synthetic brush I'm using needed to be a little more dry than I normally use since my first few lathers were rather wet and runny. Today's lather was really nice. I'm going to switch brushes soon and try a badger.

The Barbershop scent is complex with spice notes and perhaps vanilla. The aftershave scent lasts a long time! The feel is quite silky as well.

All in all I'm enjoying the Barbershop line! Rod - @ezlovan - thanks for great products!
