    Razor: Schick L1 injector
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
Lather: Country Club for Men Cahaba Blues
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Country Club Sweet Water, Nivea sensitive balm

Nice shave again with the Schick L1 injector (new to me). I really like it and find it easy to use, mild but quite efficient. I'm happy to add it to my SE arsenal.

    Have a great day!

  6. Razor: Schick E3

After using the early E2, which I find particularly aggressive (read "not my cup of tea"), the E3 was marginally smoother, but still aggressive. I actually grabbed my G8 to finish up and was amazed how much smoother it was. I'll finish the month with random SE razors. Looking forward to OC-tober. 20160929_092827.jpg

  7. Hmm.. Has it been established that there is a difference in head geometry between the US E2 and E3?

  8. Good question! Paging @Billyfergie on this. :) :thanks: buddy!

  10. I finally opened up a pack of Feather Stainless for the Autostrops. SE razors have always been rough to me vice DE blades, I'm guessing because of the thickness of the blade. But...after my usual two passes, I think I'm smoother than I've been in a while. Wether it's because these are good blades or because I've been using SE razors all month and have something to compare to, or combination thereof, today was a very good day.

  11. Really good question for which I do not have an answer. I find them VERY similar (the same?). The E2 has the spring that opens, the E3 does not, otherwise not a lot of difference. Billy????

  13. Well, I received my new Schick adjustable yesterday. I cleaned it up and came to the realization that it really is unused!

There is a cardboard insert showing how to inject the blade and the blank blade is still in the head! The razor is pristine!

I'm planning on using it to close out SEptember and find it the appropriate choice for September 30th.

  14. Wow what a beauty!
  15. Thanks. I thought about not using it, but that would be a waste. I just can't believe that I have what amounts to a new razor from the 1960s. It's like a time machine!
  16. It's beautiful Jim! Get some twin blades! :)......:transport022:
  17. Roby, I'll be sure to do that. Thanks!

  19. nice one
  20. First shave with The General. Dien Bien Phu for my other razors? Well an easy BBS, perhaps a tad mild for my taste but certainly efficient with the AC Super. That's being picky. The only real complaint is the handle - - though weight and length are fine - - got real slippery during the head shave. Will swap handles next time out and see how she does. [IMG]
