I had the pleasure of a perfect shave with my C1 today. Man I'm telling you this is one smooth unit. I think the OC design makes for a better shave than the other models of repeating razors but hey what do I know. What I do know is this thing is ...... amazing!

No idea why the Clubman Gel should work as well as it does - - mostly just glycerine - - but it works great with the injectors. Cold water all around today and the I2 remains a favorite, easy BBS.

Tonights shave and the same shave for the next month.

Razors: SR Boker "Pearl" 2 passes
ESF Rapide with a Heljestrand wedge
Brush: B-400 with Omega 10049 Knot
    Cream: AoS Lavender
    AS: clubman VIBR

I am going to do a month long focus with my straight, and use my Wedge for cleanup

Tonights shave went really well. I did 2 full passes with the SR and got a really good reduction with it. I am working on getting a good reduction on my second pass going ATG. I used my wedge for a full third pass. The results were a very nice DFS shave. Very smooth with the grain. I can feel some slight resistance ATG. I will really know tomorrow as to how good.

As you may or may not know. I am learning how to shave with straights. I plan on at least 30 days on this. Most likely many more, as this is a real challenge. Very exciting by the way.

    Tom

I've been visiting an old favorite this week....The Schick-Eversharp I2 was the first razor I ever saw my Pop shave with, when I was growing up....It has always been a favorite ever since...My Pop sure knew how to pick a fine safety razor...}8^))

I've been inspired to take a wee dram of a very peaty 10 year old Ardbeg. Aye, my belly's been properly warmed now and I've got Jura on my list for my next trip for spirits. Sadly, no Prophecy but there is a Jura Superstitious and Jura 10 year old.

    Cheers lads! :eatdrink047:

Today I did not just have a Shave , I used the Schick E2 for the First Time !! Hate to say it, but slightly edges out the PAL Injecto Matic in performance and smoothness.
