  1. Straight razor dandy

    Straight razor dandy Stuck cleaning the house himself PERMANENTLY

    SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette fatboy. An E3 1959 to be exact. Great razor.
    Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock
    Brush: Truefitt and Hill super badger
    Soap: Klar. This was voted the best soap of 2015...I don't know why more people don't mention it. It is absolutely phenomenal! Easily in my top 5
    Bowl: Japanese suribachi style
    Aftershave: Dr. Jon's classic. This brand has really gone and and reached the top rung. If you haven't tried it yet...seriously...go find it. Get a sample. It is fantastic!

    Today was not just a Shave, but it was a first wth the E2. All hype about this Razor is true. Equipped with a
    "Dutch Danglie" and well lathered, I was not prepared for how smooth and agile the razor is. It seem as though the shave was over very quickly, and yet the finish was amazing- almost tempted to say Dolphin Smooth. This is the first Schick that I have used that competes with the PAL Injecto Matic for closeness of finish , but it is much smoother.

    Excellent shave with the Schick N1 loaded with a twin blade this morning. This TFS Ginestra Di Taormina shave soap is an absolute dream! Please try it guys, it's very affordable. Three easy passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :)

    Beaudelaire Wednesday
    Another easy, smooth shave with the Maggard Slant. The Bronze Shadow easily whipped up yogurty goodness from B-M Beaudelaire, which provided plenty of glide and protection for my face while the slant guillotined my stubble. I finished up with Beaudelaire aftershave to carry on the great scent all day.
    Prep: Myrsol Emulsion
    Soap: B-M Beaudelaire
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
    Razor: Maggard Slant
    Blade: Voskhod
    AS: B-M Beaudelaire

    An excellent shave, although a bit hurried but I still managed to get BBS. The Proraso Green soap's lather was very rich and chilly with lots of cushion. The matching aftershave went on cold and soothing! :happy088: :happy088:
