    Late shave aftet shower, was a nice shave. I made a pass with the open comb just for OCtober. Really had nothing to cut. Finished with the matching balm.

    The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #104 high mountain white badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Franken razor with a Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    I've been eyeing them but I'm really curious if they retain heat well. Do you warm yours up and if so does it keep the lather warm throughout the shave? It's a toss up for me between the CC or a scuttle like the Georgetown. I think I would prefer a bowl over the scuttle just due to the size considerations.

    Blade: Trig
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
    Soap: Van Yulay- Zephyrus
    Post: Clubman/ Reef Point Intrepid Balm


    Had a nice 2 pass shave this afternoon. This Van Yulay soap is pretty darn close to the Clubman scent, made a protective lather as well. Was not as close of a shave as I would have liked, but left the den feeling refreshed and irritation free. Hope everyone else had some success today.

    I have warmed it up, but it by no means keeps lather warm through a three pass shave. A scuttle is on my Christmas list.

    Wonderful shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Excellent, rich, slick lather from the Figaro Monsieur Gold shave soap. Three easy refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth finish. The weather has begun to worsen as the hurricane inches closer. Have a great day guys. :)
