I like it as it goes well with some of my soaps and I'll put a dab or two on during the day.

Can you compare it to another Bay Rum?

Honestly, it's been a long time since I used another Bay Rum AS and do not remember what it was because I used someone else's. To me it has just a bit of spice to it, not over whelming, just nice. And not a bad price either.

My Henckels came today. I love the style and build of it. I just hope I can get an edge on the blade.

That Will Hone Out Fine..Those are Very Hard Steel..They Can Cut Quite Slow...Do Not Force them to Cut..Those Blades Should be able to Shave from the Bevel Hone & Even Pass the Hanging Hair Test from there as Well..Oh Yeah..:D

Man, I forgot. The Bunny is an open comb, isn't it? I will have to put that in the rotation this month.

Thanks for the encouragement boss man! I plan on using one piece of tape just so I have something to hold onto while moving the blade back and forth. If nobody bothers me this weekend I should be ready to give it a go on Sunday.

I Use One Layer of Tape..Change the Tape Regular..Between Each Hone Should Do it..If the Tape Wears Down Fast then You are Using Too Much Pressure..You Must Learn to Torque the Leading Edge without Undue Pressure..That Said..The Learning is in the Practice..:D

I like to let my thumb rest on the blade, not hard mind you but enough to keep the edge in contact and I check the progress after a few strokes to make sure it's even across the blades edge. Mostly just push it along with a bit of help.?

You Wont Hone a Hard Blade like that Checking it Like that..Trust Me..The Water Displacement Tells All when the Blade is on the Hone..The Water Should be getting Pushed Evenly Along the Front of the Blade at Least..Or..Even Better..The Water will be Pushed Evenly Over the Top of the Edge of the Blade..If that's Not Happening..You are Honing Nothing..:D
