  1. That was the Darwin blade, probably way softer metal as it was pretty easy to get the bevel. I follow you though on the whole concept and all, I'll be careful and let you know how it goes. I always get there eventually! I did want to say thanks for taking the time to help this old hillbilly! :happy088:

  8. Perfect shave with the E2 tonight. So far in my little injector experiment, this guy is my favorite. I am amazed at how efficient this razor is, while still being so mild. I have been faceturbating ever since I sat down tonight.

  9. Excellent setup and nice photo Jared. The E2 is a heck of a razor. I'm happy you're riding the injector train buddy!......:transport022: :happy036:
  10. Thanks, Mister. Tomorrow night if the postal service is kind to me, I will have my first shave with the Pal Adjustable. Hope the anticipation doesn't exceed the realization.

  11. I think you'll be very pleased brother, hopefully it will show tomorrow. That razor is very substantial, I was pleasantly surprised with it's size and weight when I first got it. How cool are these things!? Injecting a blade with a cartridge very :signs021:!

Wonderful shave with the Schick N1 this morning loaded with a twin blade. Excellent, creamy, protective lather from the KMF shave cream. Three refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends.

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick L1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Stirling Barbershop
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Barbershop aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG

Nice shave this morning. Went with two full passes which is a little more than my normal one pass and touch-up. I'm pretty darn smooth. The point of my chin and lower right of my neck aren't completely smooth, but I'll live with that. Those are trouble areas regardless. The Stirling soap lathered better with today's badger than the synthetic I used last week. I'm smooth and refreshed.

    Have a great Saturday!

  14. The GEM equipped Autostrop VC-1 handled the beard, the E3 the head shave. I just love the Autostrop but for being a bit tricky to handle under the nose. It's like my Shake Sharp except more better-er. The E3 shaves real close but not as smooth as the I2 and Injectomatic which two at this point stand at top of the heap as head shavers.

Wonderful shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic today loaded with a Dutch Danglies blade. KMF is an outstanding shave cream, my shaves always feel closer when using it. Three easy refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth end result. Have a great day friends. :D

  18. I wasn't able to work on the Henckels yesterday so this morning I went to work honing the blade. It took about an hour to set the bevel and work through the films but the results were good. Lathered up some tallow soap and went three passes for a pretty much BBS finish. The razor was fairly comfortable to use and the Cat o Nine tails had it's normal fire but wasn't bad. Good stuff!
