End of 2016 looks like it will be hectic and/or interesting... (Note the s/sheet contains a fair amount of assumptions for some release dates and price points)
I was originally looking for something else (I'm not even supposed to be buying any more stuff this year), but this brush kept staring me in the face. I read some good reviews and pulled the trigger Saponificio Varesino two band Manchurian badger in a pewter and rosewood handle, with stand. 26mm knot & 50mm loft. According to some owners, the knot is bigger than advertised - more likely around 30mm Also on the way: Saponificio Varesino Dolomiti (black edition) and Manna di Sicilia soaps with matching aftershaves. Some of the new SV ash wood storage containers (walnut stain) for my SV pucks. Alpa 378 and Windsor aftershaves. DR Harris Pink aftershave and Marlborough soap in bowl.
I just pulled the trigger on a Wilkinson travel set - just because I liked how it looks, and it was far from expensive
From the latter half of the 19th century, this fine-looking hunk of Sheffield steel made by Frederick Reynolds 'The Old English Razor' (1850-1870); 7/8" hollow-ground.
Very nice! I came across a Fredrick Reynolds at a flea market yesterday that looked very much like yours. The blade was in good shape. There was something engraved on the handle, but I couldn't read it due to its condition. He wanted $35, but I passed on it. I might go back.
