    Two Pass Shaving Routine..

Hot Water Prep & Massage with Argan Oil
NOS Joseph Rogers & Son Miniature 4/8th Wedge (Freshly Honed)
    Kent Pure Badger
    Wickham 1912 Vegetal Soap
    Humphreys Witch Hazel

I had My Maiden Shave Today with My Newly Acquired Miniature Joseph Rogers 4/8th Wedge..This is a Detailed Miniature Version of a 7/8th Wedge..Its Hallmarked & Says Cutlers to Her Majesties on the Tang..It has Bone Scale so It Would Probably have been Made around the Mid to Late 1800s..The Attention to Detail is Just Amazing..The Wedge Grind to the Factory Bevel is Pure Industrial Perfection..;)

I have Never Honed a Wedge before but this One was Straight Forward being NOS with a Factory Bevel..It Took a Killer Edge & it Shaved Very Smoothly & Cut Down 2 Days of Whiskers Quite Easily..The Blade is the Same Length (40 mm) a Rolls Razor SE Hollow Ground Blade which I am Used to Shaving with..So it Shaves Pretty Much like a Hollow Ground SE albeit Requiring more Attention..:D

I Got this Quite Cheap & its a Good Job Cause I thought it was a Full Size 7/8th in the Sellers Pics..Whit a Darn Numpty Heid..:happy097:

    Old Spice Lime

Wonderfully cold shave this morning. I love this scent and the performance is top notch. Three passes and I'm dolphin smooth. Zero burn from the alum. Finished up with the Osage followed by my vintage Old Spice lime. Have a great day folks!

Biding my time until the Hawk and Bunny arrive, until they do the General/Pro Super (and E2/Feather) for the beard and Injectomatic/Plus Platinum for the head shave are the tools to beat in terms of smoothness and efficiency. I wouldn't kick the 1914 out of bed but two passes with the General does the trick with this blade, and the PAL just feels right from the moment it touches my head.

Thanks! I do too. It's hard to find one at decent price, especially with a usable blade. I got this one for $31 which I thought was fair. The things are built like a tank. We should start a club thread or something for people who have one of them.

Awesome shave tonight with the J Type. I think I might prefer the handle over the I. Guess I'll just have to shave with both of them a bunch more times while I try to decide.

Since this thread is full of SE users I thought it would be interesting to hear people's initial reactions to this potential, upcoming design.
No, there are no specs/details on blade, material, etc - just this image.

Just 'gut feel'/instinctive reaction to the looks of it - good or bad?
    (Obviously not my design/work)

The Schick N1 loaded with a twin blade is a perfect razor for a smooth, efficient shave. ThisKMF shave cream has to be some of the bestperforming shave cream on earth. Three easy, refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth shave.Have a great day guys. :happy088:

    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick L1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Stirling Barbershop
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Barbershop aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

The L1 injector is continuing to provide nice shaves while the Stirling soap provides beautiful lather. No complaints here! Nice shave and feeling pretty smooth.

    Have a great day!

    Jim99 Gold Water Shaver

I love the look of it. The finish and lines on it make it a very attractive razor. If it were a car, I would expect it to be an exotic Italian car. Maybe a Lamborghini.

The head design is intriguing, but I suspect that it might not be the easiest razor to find the right angle.

If it had gotten good reviews, I think I would add that to my wish list!

I like the industrial look of it, very substantial and heavy? Is the angle right with the stepped top. Kinda cool. Does it use a DE blade? The head looks that wide.

I had a fine shave with the Darwin this morning. Went 3 complete passes for a BBS shave. Finished with Knockout Shave Black jojoba and witch hazel lotion and splash of L'Orange Noir. Just about as good as it gets!
