There really are no known details/specs at this point. It's a prototype design by Charcoalgoods who will be trying it out in the month(s) to come.

1924 Ever-Ready on Merkur Travel Razor handle
    CVS Carbon Steel blade
    L'Occitane Plisson synthetic brush
    Arko
Pre De Provence Shea Butter balm
    Pinaud Clubman Original aftershave

Took a break from OCtober as I was on a weekend Las Vegas getaway. This is my usual travel setup when flying. I do the carry-on only thing, so I stop at the nearest CVS drugs on my way to my hotel and pick up some carbon steel blades.

The razor is a 1924 (flat teeth, stamped base) on a Merkur travel razor handle with a setscrew. It all fits into the little case. The 1924 is perfectly serviceable but with considerable brassing, so I wouldn't be overly upset if it were to be lost or confiscated by a clueless TSA agent.

The L'Occitane Plisson synthetic brush is light, dries quickly and fits in the Muhle brush case nicely.Synthetics are the only way to go with a travel brush.

Not everyone is enamored with the scent of Arko, but most agree that it lathers well. It does indeed, even in very hard water, and the small puck in the plastic container travels nicely.

I don't normally use a balm, but the desert air dries my skin, and the Pre De Provence Shea Butter balm is the best I've found.

Finish off with some Clubman, carried in an unbreakable TSA compliant container.

The CVS blades are smooth shavers in the 1924. I use a fresh blade every day since I can't take the unused blades home with me.

I usually do a 2 pass shave when traveling - time is often limited and hotel bathrooms are frequently less than ideal.

I'd be curious to see/hear about travel setups used by others.

Excellent shave with the PAL Adjustable injector razor this morning. Wonderful lather from the VY shave soap. Three easy passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :happy005:

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick L1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Stirling Barbershop
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Barbershop aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Continued use of the Schick L1 and I'm really enjoying it. It's a mild razor but that's not a problem for me on daily morning shaves. I'm itching to try a new-to-me Schick I1 soon as well as get back to the G1. But I'm committed to the L1 for this month and will honor that. It's been a great razor so far.

    Have a great day!

    Hey All,

I just purchased an unopened Personna Electro Steel injector razor (Personna Super Stainless Injector). Anyone have experience with this razor? Good or bad?

I do have one. It is definitely mild, but not so much that it isn't efficient. Don't think I've had a single bad shave with mine. And it looks pretty dang cool too.
