One thing to note: When undergoing a medical procedure, when a Nurse or Doctor says "this is gonna hurt a bit...", you can believe them. It's going to be painful.
Like when I cut my chin open from a bike accident as a child and the nurse said it would be okay to scream when they disinfected the wound. I started bawling before they even started. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
someone saying "Sure" to begin an answer to an interviewer's question. Why not just say "Yes, I understood the question", although that would sound equally odd.
Dude and bro, but only when used in every other sentence. I had a guy that worked with that said dude or bro to me every sentence. It drove me mad. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk
I don't think this falls under a phrase, but I used to work as a machinist at this shop, and I had a supervisor that would always say "what's wrong?" practically every time he saw someone. Really irritated the crap out of me. There would be two guys just having a normal conversation, and he would walk up and say "what's wrong?" Really annoying
