Make sure it's captioned or sub title. I watcj it once in Los Angeles with my Uncle that spent the entire War in a Japanese Prisoner of War Camp ( he made the Bataan Death March) he knew what they were saying.
Train to Busan (2016), rated a 7.7 on IMDB. A South Korean zombie flick. Amazing to see a modern action film that didn't rely on guns with infinite ammo. Sequel already projected.
I watched "10 Cloverfield Lane". For the first time ever I really can't decide if I like or hate this film. It is different and well made but some parts I found boring and others excellent. Maybe I should see it again. Has anyone else seen it and if so what do you think? Sent from my LG-V480 using Tapatalk
I enjoyed the film. With a minimal set. very few actors, no special FX until the end - it was a guess fest. Did he? Will she? And what about that guy, and the daughter... (no spoilers, heehee.) This only remotely ties in with the previous film by a similar name. Whole different style, but enjoyable. And I live very near where it's to have taken place.
The Revenant Pretty grim. A series of bad experiences one after the other. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Ok. This is a bit embarrassing to admit, but I watched The Duff and really enjoyed it. A good little teen romance drama film. Those type of films are my guilty pleasure. Sent from my LG-V480 using Tapatalk
Just watched Spectre last night. I've been disappointed in the Craig Bond movies. The action is good, he makes a fine Bond, and I enjoy the homages to the older movies. My problem is the plots. Too much mystery surrounding what's going on without enough hints to lead you into caring. By the time the reveals are made, it's all a bit anti-climactic because there wasn't any anticipation.
