Last night I was in a Japanese grocery store and saw these disposable razors for sale. I thought "what the heck" this will add a little adventure to my morning shave. Ignoring the "For Ladies" label on the package, I dove right in. I lathered up some TSD Bourbon Vanilla with my Jayaruh #44 Brush and went to it. I was fully prepared for a crappy shave and had already suffered through derisive laughter from my lovely wife. My confidence level was not high. After the first WTG pass, things began to look up. I already had a bloodless DFS. Let's go for broke. Pass two was XTG and resulted in one small weeper but a very nice shave. The alum was even quiet. I actually wouldn't hesitate to throw this in a travel bag for emergencies. Gillette British Slim Twist Personna Lab Blue Behemoth Badger Brush Derby Soap Witch Hazel Pinaud Clubman AS Seems like plastic handled Gillette TTO's don't get enough attention, and it was true of me also as I just collected them. But after using this one a couple of times, they give great shaves as I got today with a nice three pass BBS shave. It's a mild razor, but with the right blade it performs great. And if you don't want to take an expensive razor along on a trip for fear of losing it, these would be nice just for that reason as they can be had for low prices.
