Thanks Robert. Dark and sullen mood in the office today so I thought the background was a perfect fit for the mood.

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Speick Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #119 synthetic
    Micromatic OC
    CVS 009 RD
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Speick After Shave

The Speick Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #119 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Micromatic OC razor with a CVS 009 RD blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Soap: Route 66 Perfect Storm
    Aftershave: Floid Blue

Excellent 3 pass with a minor touch up today. The Gillette Platinum has stood the test of time giving me 7 excellent close comfortable. As is my rule I'll change to a Feather Platinum blade tomorrow. The Barber Pole handle is of outstanding weight and balance for me. I can truly say that there isn't a Timeless handle I don't like. Each brings their own personality to the party. YMMV. Snow started today for the first time this year. There you go. :)

Guys, please don't get mad at me for this - it's my brother-in-law's fault! :ashamed001:

    Friday morning's change of plans:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster

    Egyptian Ingram S/C :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Lucky Tiger A/S Cream :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Floid Classic A/S Splash :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

Hey, I meant well - but a certain individual decided to borrow my Rose of Bulgaria cream without asking me first, (je vais te tuer, Armand!) so I have to use something else which was supposed to come up in the rotation on Tuesday. The Egyptian version of Ingram is still terrific, don't get me wrong. Lots of rich lather, colder than the British Ingram, I love the scent, and it's very kind to sensitive skin. I cannot be without the Lucky Tiger a/s cream or the Floid Classic splash! ;) :D

Enjoy the weekend, my friends! :)

    Ah, thanks Roby!!!

I swear, my brother-in-law is a wonderful guy and I love him dearly but he has a habit of just helping himself to my stuff without first finding out if it's ok. As it is I wanted to shave with this Rose of Bulgaria cream because I really enjoy it the odd time I use it. I was looking for it before and then the phone rang and sure enough, my brother-in-law said that he borrowed it and he'll be bringing it back tomorrow evening. He's also a wetshaver like us. I'd say I enjoy my shaves about 99.9% of the time! ;)

I love the Ben Franklin. It is a scent similar to the Veg. It chooses you or not, and I have been Chosen. It doesn't get used a ton, because it is far from my wife's favorite scent, but I am home alone tonight, and just basking in the scent of an old man's pantaloon.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20161027_200924.jpg

Prep: shower with Soap Commander Vision and Trader Joe's tea tree face wash
Razor: Gillette ball end OC Tech
    Blade: Gillette Black
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
Soap: Local Gent- Fields & Streams
Post: Local Gent Anubis balm/ Peach Thayers WH

2 pass shave this afternoon. Got a slick lather from the LG soap, and the scent is a nice mix of sage and coffee. Ended up with a few nicks from this razor since it is pretty agressive, but a decent shave overall. Finished off with Anubis Balm for a soothing post shave. Hope everyone had a great shave!

Surprisingly I didn't really feel them. It was a decent shave. Not super-close/clean result but pleasant enough. :)

Nice setup. The BSB and the Tech really pair up nicely.
