Excellent shave with my new Pal Adjustable with a modern Personna/Ted Pella blade! I was eager to test this new beauty out because of the broken piece inside the head of the razor, but the blade seemed to stay in place just fine:) Still wish it wasn't broken, but oh well. Wonderfully smooth except the jawbone, which is always the toughest spot for me. I have been practicing rolling over that area with the razor in order to maintain even contact, but it isn't quite perfect. After a splash of some Florida Water I'm ready to face the day:happy088:

Great question! I'm not really sure myself. I have both, but have yet to use the clog pruf. I like the looks of both. The clog pruf has those wide channels for the lather to pass through and the OC has the teeth. Maybe someone else can weigh in with a comparison:signs002:

I have a CP and I really like it. I think it is a bit smoother than the OC. Here is a blast from the past just for you.

Away with boring razors. Beard = Eversharp H(ussy), Head = PAL Adjustable. Schick NOS Plus Platinum blades, DIY shave gel.

This was yesterday's shave. Just getting around to posting. I didn't shave today. This shave was right in line with the other Stirling shaves from this month. Great lather, good scent, nice result. SWMBO picked out the Fine Platinum as the after shave. Terrific scent and nice change-up. One more shave tomorrow with this combination and then I'm back to variety.

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Nothing boring about either of those two razors! Looks like an all star shave, but which do you prefer:signs002:

    Beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing.
I am inclined towards sb. High hopes for the CP that should be on its way very soon.

The PAL.. But I haven't yet tried either with twins or a Feather which I'm anxious to do.

Shave for Sunday October 30, 2016

Ikon El Jefe razor w/Maggard MR1 handle
    Feather AC Professional blade (1)
    The Grooming Co. synthetic brush
    Stirling Bay Rum soap
    Turtle Bay Bay Rum aftershave

After fiddling around with the blade until I was satisfied that it was properly seated I found that the El Jefe is a great shaver, slightly more aggressive than the Hawk, General or SE1, but not quite in Rx or Cobra territory.

The alloy used is heavier than the aluminum razors giving it a substantial feel in the hand more like that of a stainless steel razor.

I understand that Icon has pulled the El Jefe off the market (I assume) in order to address the blade post issue. Hopefully it can be quickly resolved as this is a smooth shaver at an attractive price point.

Revisited Schick Adjustable- not my favourite based on looks !! Loaded with a modern twin , on 10th use
still delivers incredibly smooth and close shaves . Must use it more often.:)

Wonderful shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Excellent, slick, freezing lather from the Stirling Glacial MITA shave soap. Three refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :)

Monday morning shave with my Pal Injectomatic. It's probably a little smoother than the earlier Schicks I have (E2, E3), maybe similar to the Schick G. The proper angle was easy to find and my hurried, gotta-get-to-work shave turned out nice. Not dolphin smooth, more like the dolphin's less clean-shaven brother?

Final October shave with Stirling Barbershop. It's been a good month of nice shaves. The Schick L1 performed well all month as did the Stirling products. I'm pleased with the shaves I had and thankful that TSD voted on a quality product for me to spend so much time with!

Tomorrow I'll begin rotating through my injectors and SE razors again. I'm looking forward to using the G1 again as well as using the new-to-me I1 for the first time. GEM Featherweight and Pushbutton are both feeling lonely too.

First use of the JR #60 brush this morning. Loved it! Love the craftmanship as well as the performance. Soft synthetic knot that lathered up really well.

Happy Halloween and hope you have a great day!
