The fourth is on the way. I'll assemble one set in the best condition and let the others go work the streets. There are definitely two or three different cosmetic variations amongst them.

Great shave this morning with the Single Edge and Pal Adjustable. Not exactly a fair competition since the Single had a Personna 74 loaded in it while the Pal had a current day Personna. There is a place for both of these razors in my den. The Pal with its retro/future design and the Single Edge with it build quality, surprisingly grippy matte finish, and wonderful smoothness. So much to love and so little face to shave:shaver KMF is alway at good lather for me and left me near bbs. Still trying to figure the chin/jaw to get dolphin smooth, but no irritation makes me a happy camper:D

My Stainless Star [ part anyway ], with a good NOS blade I can attain first class shaves every time with the
PAL adjustable, and to think it only uses a single blade. The true test will be to see how it goes with a Personna.

Nice shave with the extremely overpriced Alumigoose this morning. I'm always left underwhelmed by the performance of this razor at it's price point. Any width of the SE blade is always negated by the amount of clean up work I have to do to achieve a dolphin smooth result even with a FPS blade it just can't measure up to my PAL razors or my Schick N1 fitted with a twin blade. Nevertheless after more work than I prefer I am dolphin smooth and refreshed. KMF is glorious. Have a great day friends. :)

I am currently using my PAL adjustable with a modern day Personna blade and I find it to be an awesome shave and maybe better than the chick blades!

I'll probably do a separate post on this, but I find the Pesonna injector blade to be a bit aggressive on the first shave and then it tones down a bit. It's the second Personna injector blade I've used and I might adjust the settings with the next blade.

Either way, I get a BBS shave in two passes every time with a Personna loaded into the PAL adjustable. I can't ask for more than that!

Is it because of the width of the blade being cumbersome, or the lack of efficiency?

Both! The width of the blade disallows me to get up under my jaw and neckline the way that I'm accustomed to. The efficiency could also be better even with this heavy Dr. Bomber's handle.

That answered my question. The width of them is certainly a downfall IMO. My mongoose can peel your face off, and I was wondering if the weight made a difference. Sucks when you figure how many Schicks it coulda bought, huh?

Sure does. I don't even know why I bought it. I was perfectly happy with my PAL's and Schick's. Guess who won't be making that mistake again...this guy! :happy088:

You should put it up on a BST. I'm sure it would go like a shot.

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Soap Commander Passion
Post: Witch hazel splash, Skin Bracer, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG

Had a little more time this morning and went with two full passes. What a great shave! Soap Commander is really great soap. The post-shave feel and skin conditioning is spectacular. I'm pretty darn smooth and feeling good after such a nice shave.

The G1 injector worked extremely well as always. It's hands down my favorite razor. I still have the I1 to try. I always seem to gravitate back to the G1 when I dabble in other razors.

As Roby says - ridin' the train! :transport022:

    Have a great day!

Did you ever try attaching a different handle? I don't know if it's possible. It was asked above somewhere if the head ever had a different handle.
