wow, what did the first N do to anyone? Give that letter some respect and pronounce the capital "Tren'n".

A'ight. I don't hear it at all where I live, but when I lived over near Detroit, that word was used a lot. Along with aks, and just poor grammer, and crappy English.

Umm ... that is normal English ... British maybe?

A pocket is a cluster of something that's different from it's surroundings. Don't know if it's regularly used in that context in the USA though.

Using "shall we say" in about every sentence.

Though I have a great colleague who does exactly that, so it can't be all bad ;)

All right, I'll except that description of "pocket", but it leads me to ask, if that is what it has always meant, why have people just begun to pick up on it now?

There's another word that gets me...."axe murderer". You'd think it refers to the killing of axes, but I guess it refers to killing ANYTHING.

Which reminds me of another peeve a la' Richard Rawlings ("Fast 'n' Loud")... "Git me/ya some." Makes me want to yell at the TV.
