I rebuilt a set of axles from a Audi 4000. Cleaned, re-greased and new boots.

Been working on a barber chair circa 1903-1911. Stripping off paint and revealing the grain of quarter sawn oak. 20161008_133709.jpg

Set up a new, cheap record player. Records sound better than I remember. Not CD quality, but pretty good.

Carried a couple of heavy items up my Mom's steps. . Her partner and I were going to do it together, but I looked at them and said to him "I can get these myself".

Just one of the reasons that my 1920 Vitanola is a treasured possession. (Even more so b/c it was my grandmother's)

On friday I applied for a job as security at the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. I hope I get it as it is a much higher paying job than I have now.

First, I awoke at 0500 hrs, and bought a French Frameback Razor. Next, I got donuts for the sleeping family. I then cleaned and rearranged the entire garage. I smoked a Rocky Patel 1990 cigar. Then, I grilled 4 lbs of homemade hamburgers, on an oak wood fired grill. Now, I relax with some coffee.

I sent flowers to my Mom to keep her spirits up. Today would be my parents' wedding anniversary. My Dad passed about 15 years ago, so we always send her flowers on this date,

My wife invited over five single ladies from our church.
I did the grilling for them - chicken, burgers and dogs.
They all enjoyed it and had a great time.
I filled a plate and retired to watch the Eagles drop one to the Giants.

I grilled 200 hot dogs yesterday for a bunch of Jr. High kids at church.

"CD quality" can often mean 'cold, sterile, with little dynamics.'
I'll take a quality analog LP anytime. ;)

Bull riding buckles, one of which says 'champion'. That's all the manly stuff nailed, right there. I'm not worthy!
