New guy to the forums, a recent (3 months or so in) convert to DE shaving, and an aspiring straight edge shaver. I'm afraid that I have already partaken deeply of the kool-aid. My current den is as follows, if there is any interest in such things: Razors: Merkur 34c, 1963 Gillette Slim, RazoRock German 37 Slant, and a cheapie from Sally's that I unaffectionately dubbed The Grim Weeper. I also picked up a Boker Silver Steel straight (1924-36, I believe) that needs a good honing and have a Weck Sextoblade en route. Brushes: Shaveway Badger, RazoRock Big Bruce Plissoft Soaps: Far too many for my station but I am hopelessly enamored with the discovery process. Cold River Soap Works Barbiere Sapone, Stirling Barbershop, RazoRock Tobacco, RazoRock Tuscan Oud, Tabac, Arko, Williams, Shulton India Old Spice, Creamo Cream. After Shaves: Clubman Pinaud, Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum, Clubman Lilac Veg, Stetson, Halston, Canoe, English Leather, Tabac, Proraso, and a frankenbrew I mixed with various aftershaves, witch hazel and vitamin E. Welcome to The Shave Den! Hook, line, and sinker come to mind when I read your introductory post. You're off to a great start.
Man, I bit it HARD! But I'm having fun. It's a fairly benign hobby. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Welcome.. let's see how that shave den of yours looks in a year ... lol I started almost a year ago with 2 razors and a tub of proraso green... my wife says I have more shave product than she has beauty product ( that's a lie on her part )
Welcome from MN! "My current den is as follows, if there is any interest in such things:" Absolutely there is interest. Because this is your welcome post we won't give you a hard time for not posting pictures.
Welcome @SharptoothC ! Arko, The Veg, and a razor named "The Grim Weeper"... I've got a question for you - How do you feel about Russian DE blades? (Neal @NCoxSTL , this guy sounds like our kind of people )
Welcome, from Texas. It looks like you have a nice collection already. Get that straight honed, buy a strop, and start enjoying those straight razor shaves.
That's the intent! I know there are guys around who hone. Any in the SC area? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
