Nice shave this morning with the G1 and Mitchell's. I look forward to Fat Fridays and today's effort didn't disappoint.

Magnificent shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic today. Excellent, slick, beautifully scented lather from the Wickham Citrus Musk shave soap. Three passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a good one friends.

Among my Schick injectors, this is my favorite one. As smooth and comfortable as my Schick G, but with a handle which has a better grip and feel to it. The FS brush also has a very nice feel to the face and whips up a generous amount of thick and slick lather from the WSP Fougere Noir soap which has a very pleasing scent. Maybe it's just me, but this soap seems to work better with my Schick injector and Gem SE razors. Anyway, I received a very nice three pass BBS shave, being comfortable and very smooth.

Last night I shaved with a high end stainless steel razor. Tonight I shaved with a Schick I paid less than four dollars to have shipped to me. I got the same great results. There might be a lesson in there somewhere.

Today had similar experience, the shave yesterday S/S Razor/Blade [10] was great. Today used PAL Injectomatic/Schick Jap [10]
shave also v.good. Shows that preparation , concentration and a light touch helps get that good shave.

Alumigoose ~ Simpson Commodore - I Coloniali Mango ~ Stirling Sandalwood

The Alumigoose with a Super in it can give me the shave I am looking for. I put the Dr. Bomber handle back on tonight. It is very close in weight to the brass handle I used last, just shorter. While I got a very close shave tonight, it wasn't quite as good as with the longer handle. That tells me it is a technique issue and that I will get it with more use. Maybe a focus is needed.

Oh... I found an Injectomatic today on another BST. A real minty cased one.

Oh my goodness Jared, it's beautiful! The Injecto-Matic is my favorite razor.

 

Over on TSR, those people have them like we have Super Speeds. They're hard up for Schick Kronas. A guy could probably trade for Injectomatics quite easily. In fact, based on the recommendation of a member over there, that was going to be my next move. Then I tripped over this one.

 

Good to know brother. Well played...well played indeed.

 

What's TSR? I've got two Kronas I could part with. Will knows what I might find.
