In order to keep my hand in , had a DE shave today. I personally find them less forgiving shavers than either SE Or Injector razors , so easy if your concentration lapses to get a cut or weeper. I do like the weight of the Futur , which
allows me to use that weight to avoid putting undue pressure on the razor during the shave.

I rather enjoyed today`s Shave, which was not only very smooth but I got a very close all round shave, having successfully gone ATG around the Neck,and no mishaps or irritation.

Awesome shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Excellent lather from the Arko shave stick. Three fun, refreshing passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. Happy Thanksgiving guys!

- Portland Razor Co. "The Sprite"
- Alverde ASB

The Sprite is a great little Straight Razor. It arrived very sharp but at the same time it was pretty tuggy ATG. So I sent it to a friend who smoothened it by polishing the blade on some of his natural stones. Works much better now. Still not the smoothest razor I own, but I like it. Handling is nice and it looks just great

Oh and - Happy Thanksgiving to all of you on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean!

I was up early in order to get the turkey started in the Big Green Egg. With the bird smoking away, I had a nice relaxing shave. The CH2 Synthetic whipped up the Route 66 Twisted Tweed into a wonderful slick lather. A nice easy three pass shave with minimal touch ups ended just short of near perfect BBS. Guests will be arriving around lunch so I am back to my cooking duties. To those that celebrate I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with family and friends and to everyone I hope you have a great Thursday.
