So simple, 3 passes, the last was wet and thin for clean up. WTG#1, and ATG/XTG with clean up, yielded a better than BBS shave. Happy Camper all the way around wishing for the same to all. God Bless.

2nd attempt at Barrister & Mann – Hallows...this time with 'The Duke'.. BOOM!! Oh yes, they like each other.. Lashings of thick, creamy lather, and The Hone / Astra S/S combo delivered a DFS.. RESULT!

Superb shave with Reef Point Test Depth. My BB Bronze Shadow made optimal lather, and the Futur made quick work of my stubble. The splash and balm are cooling, and leave my skin soft and protected.

An early post for Saturday morning's fun with another exotic cream from far away:

Max Refreshing A/S Splash (from Bulgaria and awesome!)

I'll be taking an imaginary shaving journey to Bangladesh for this shave. The Tibet cream is from there and it's the biggest seller. (I hear it sells for less than half a dollar!) Bangladeshi barbers use it on their customers and it's really enjoyed a lot. The scent is outdoorsy and nice, it lathers like crazy, and it gives a pretty strong menthol sensation. The Lucky Tiger has me in love with it and this Max Refreshing a/s splash smells terrific, with a super-duper cooling effect.

Had an excellent shave with the New OC as it surgically mowed down my two day growth. Producing a great three pass BBS shave while being smooth and very comfortable. This is one blade that I can say is just as smooth as a Ladas blade in my razors, while being as sharp as a Lab Blue or Voskhod.

Straight shave #4

 

SOTD: Vintage Marshes & Shepherd 'Pond Works' (1840-50) wedge, all original; Rubberset boar, RazoRock 'Green Tea' soap; and Fine 'Snake Bite' finish. Heavy-bladed razor with a scary-sharp edge. RazoRock provides 'decent' glide but a big drop off in performance compared to some of the other top soaps in the rotation. Probably why I forgot I had it and dont use it much. Still a quality shave with smooth results.

Outstanding 3 pass shave tonight. The Sunrise Synthetic is a great knot which was installed by @clint64. He had to talk me into getting this knot am I very happy he did. The brush whipped up an excellent lather and the Gillette President mowed down the stubble. Today I had a BBS for sure.
My wife pulled out an old cigar box that belonged to her grandmother, and because it wasn't a very nice day out I decided to use it in my picture.
