I am a beginner so my toys aren't as fun as everyone elses, but this is what is coming this week:

Pretty cool I would get one but my focus has shifted to straight razors for now.

 

Looks like plenty of fun to me.

 

I am interested in some of the vintage DE razors. That will be some of my new interest.

Stirling released their 24mm Finest Fans today, so I picked one up.



Also picked up a couple of soaps and a some things for Christmas gifts.

Was doing a little Black Friday browsing and picked up a handle from IB, and a white horse from Gifts and Care.





I saw this brush on Etsy a long time ago, and it caught my eye for some reason, so I marked it. I stopped back today, and it was still there so I bought it. I have never seen a flattop like that on a boar before.

 

Yeah! I prefer fans to bulbs. Was it the only one?

 

No, he has more. I guess he ties his own knots. He only gets about $20 for them, so seems like a really good deal if the knots pan out. His Etsy store is 999Shave .

I've been looking into local sourcing of boar bristle myself. Online prices are outrageous.

I don't normally partake in Black Friday events - but - at 20% off and free shipping - I gave in yesterday. From West Coast Shaving I ordered two Captain's Choice Soaps one sandalwood and another called North, two Barrister & Mann soaps Lavanda and another in sandalwood, Fine Classic American Blend soap, Stirling soap in Bay Rum, two more brush and razor stands, an Omega Professional boar brush and an Omega Hi-Brush synthetic (my first synthetic). More fun on the way.

 

Ordered a full jar of Christmas Eve and samples of Gatlinberg & Coniferous shave soaps from Sterling Soap Co.
I never tried Sterling, but heard good things about their soaps. I wanted something special for the holiday season.

 

Should be delivered by Tuesday.

 

So, I bet these could be a couple of my stocking stuffers from Santa... a fifty pack of Feather Blades and some smell goods that I've really been wanting.

Edit: I don't buy from Amazon too much, ever since they upped free shipping amount from $35.00.

 

Oh yeah, and for my goatee that I started to grow again... Hope it's good, had a hard time deciding.
