I guess that`s the most unusual razor handle I`ve ever seen. Looks very easy to maneuver. Bill

Bill, many of us people of European ancestry are multilingual. I'm Israeli, but I am fluent in more than 11 languages and I am functional in another 6. No bragging intended! :)

    Don't laugh - so am I!

It's the only language which I don't have such a great command of. I can read, write, and understand it with no trouble but my speaking is not as good as for example, my French.

Great looking scuttle Joseph, is that the one your niece threw for you? She could definitely make some money with her craftsmanship if time and family allowed such an adventure.

Nov. 27: Another new blade. This time it is the Dorco New Platinum ST 301 from South Korea. Usual Merkur 34c, bowl, and a Muhle badger brush. New soap as well - Stirling's Executive Man (very nice soap - slick). I must say for a very inexpensive blade I did not have much in the way of expectations. To my surprise this is an excellent blade. Very smooth and no irritation - even on my neck. Did three passes with almost no touch up and got a very nice BBS. I do not think this blade is as sharp as the Astra SP but certainly sharp enough. For someone starting out this would be an excellent blade - forgiving, smooth, capable of very close shaves, and inexpensive. I found one site selling the Dorco ST 301 for $7.95 per 100. Not sure I have seen any other blades that inexpensive.

Always admire those who speak multiple languages. Having lived in Germany and Korea - I can get around pretty well in those languages. Plus took four years of Latin. Appropriate for this web site: barba non facit philosophum

    Hi Guys,

i just want to share my 1st Advent shave with my friends:

Feather Professional Artist Club SS Straight // Feather Professional // Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica // Shavemac 23397 // Felce Azzura Rinfrescante

DFS!!! I thought that the Feather Pro Guard Blades were sharp, but the Professional...wow!!! Sharp as hell (got 2 little cuts), but smooth, smooth, smooth. Heavenly feeling when the whiskers got cut by this blade. Pure joy. The absolutely surprise has been the Aftershave...what a nice scent...a sweet, musky scent with a floral note (Felce), which is just right for this time of the year. Great!!!

So, now i will enjoy the rest of the evening with a pipe and a good whiskey.

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and take care.

    Greetings
    Thorsten
