A very nice relaxing shave this morning. The Twisted Tweed provided a great rich slick lather. I enjoy the scent and find it dissipates about the time the shave is complete which I find nice. Sticking with my normal 3 pass shave with minimal touch ups ended in a near perfect BBS. Using this razor consistently for the month has really helped me us it to its full potential. I finished off the shave with a splash of Floid Blue and now I am ready for a relaxing day of college football. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

The Rum Runner was very easy to whip into a rich slick protective lather. I paid attention to my trouble spots as I progressed through my normal 3 pass routine. I was rewarded with a near BBS result which is more than good enough for a relaxing morning. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

 

I took a chunk out of my cheek on Thursday with a straight razor, so I didn't shave until today to let it heal up good before dragging another sharp edge over the area. One pass and touchups with the bulldog took down three days growth with ease.

A great shave this morning certainly eased the transition back to reality after a long holiday weekend. Three passes and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. I finished off the shave with a splash of Floid Blue. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Another very good 3 pass near BBS shave this morning. I will note that as I get deeper into the puck of Rum Runner the scent is rounding out and the sandalwood and birch wood scents are moving more to the foreground. I am enjoying the soap even more as a result. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

 

Proud owner of a Gillette NEW SC circa 1932-1940. Shaves like a champ. Next up in my rotation. Will post pics.

I picked it up 3wks ago at a local fleamarket for 5 bucks. It was pretty roached out. 'Bout an hour with Scrubbing Bubbles, toothpaste, and MAAS metal polish and she looks good as new

 

That was a great find at fantastic price. It always amazes me how well the vintage Gillette Razors clean up.

Another very good shave to end the month. Another consistent near BBS shave this morning. After using the Wolfman OC with increased blade gap for the entire month, I must say it is an exceptionally smooth and efficient razor. With the exception of 2 days I have used a Simpson CH2 Synthetic for each of the shaves this month. While I do have other synthetics the CH2 Synthetic is by far my favorite synthetics and some of my favorites period. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
