If you're unsure yet with handling it, go with the mild. On the other hand, as Lou Reid said... take a walk on the wild side!
Well it's late, two votes decide it (Not gonna wait for the Electoral College). I'm gonna clean the razor, switch to the WILD (which I did not try last time) and put in a new blade. I know, I know, it's only been 2 shaves, but I want each comb to have a fresh start. If you don't hear from me again, my next of kin will forward the Bunny. HERM
Bunny Shave 3 Today I loaded up a new Schick Chick blade and switched to the WILD comb. I used Proraso Green soap which, IMHO, is not the slickest soap out there. I immediately noticed the blade. Not a bad feeling, it was just more apparent, more noticeable. That being said, the result was just as smooth a shave as the NOTSO comb. I would put the WILD as more efficient, not more aggressive. I never felt like I could get a nick or cut. Managing to get the angle right, with the spring and blade sliding together I did a 3-pass shave with a nice BBS/DFS result. There was a little sting with the AS, but otherwise sweet. I need a bit more time to get this comb working to its optimum. HERM
Are you insinuating that I have a big nose? LOL To me the Bunny behaves just like any other injector. On the first pass I start just under my nose at a very steep angle, then draw it down (N to S) gradually shallowing out as I go. Subsequent passes are E to W and W to E with a concentration in the stubborn line of whiskers that grows right along the edge of my upper lip. HERM
Bunny Shave #4 Comb - WILD Soap - Van Der Hagen Brush - StrongSet restore Blade - Schick "Chick" Shave #2 with the WILD comb and it was a nice shave and fairly comfortable. However, with the WILD comb this razor really makes me aware of the blade and how sharp it just might be if you stray from your technique or if you let the angle get a little steep. Like the E2, it shaves just fine, but I always have that "danger" feeling, warranted or not. Don't get me wrong, I like the Bunny, but I'm thinking that the WILD comb may not be for me. Tomorrow will be shave #3 on the WILD, then I'm going to the MILD to see what the difference might be. If I recall, I used the MILD only on my first try of the Bunny and the experience was wonderful.
Take your time. I am sure nobody will mind if you use it for a month or so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
