I'm kind of low budget when it comes to purchases. Most of my hardware has been vintage stuff from antique/thrift stores. Having recently won a couple auctions I'm not lacking for new toys to play with. Nothing I feel the need to buy. Doesn't mean I won't stop looking. My thrill comes through fortune and chance finding stuff in the wild or getting low price gear from obscure websites. I would like to find a good lime aftershave.
When my change jar reaches spending level, I'm considering MITA for the menthol lime effect. TSD AS is also available in a chilled version?!
I'm not sure if you ever check, but there are some in eBay from time to time, as well as Reddit, Facebook, and some other shave forums. A guy put up a want ad for some the other day and he got a bunch of responses.
LOL - that's so true! I've sold off many brushes since I got my first synthetic. They're just that good - at least to me. On topic, to "complete" my brush collection, an empty handle from Rubberset 400 that I can install an Ubersoft or Plissoft knot in, and I'll be set "for life" with BAD.
I believe you can add menthol by special request. Or, maybe it's a standard option. It's been a while since I've ordered some (I um... sorta horded it ... slightly ... with both AS and EDT).
A really nice Silver Tip Badger brush. All those that I've tried, not Silver Tip, weren't so impressive.
I still have my TSD Subzero, but by "chilled version", I bet you meant "Iced". I didn't get mine iced.
The one thing I would like to see in my den again would be a Double Ring set. I really miss my old one. Unfortunately circumstances dictated its departure. ( I needed a new hot water heater, so I sold it. ) Stuff Happens.
Finally was not outbid on a fat boy. Better shape than I thought. A little hitch in the tto mechanism. More soaking. Soap scum was thin. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
