Good morning Mark. Very nice picture. How do you setup the mirror photo without you getting in the shot? How do you like that knot?

The WDC-8 handle is solid brass that feels wonderful in your hand. When paired with the Druida Manchurian knot the combination is one of my favorite brushes. As expected the Rossa was easy to load and lather. Sticking with a 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. Overall a great shave and an excellent start to the weekend. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

    Saturday

Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep
Soap: Barrister & Mann Seville (1st B&M soap)
Razor: Gillette Pre-War Fat Handle Tech (Triangle Slots)
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Green Super Stainless (4)
    Brush: Elite Razor Silvertip-24mmMx50mm
    Aftershave: Anucci Sport

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Barrister & Mann Seville today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7 O’Clock Green SS still in the FH Tech. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Anucci Sport EdT.

This is my first Barrister & Mann soap. Its stellar reputation is well deserved.

Top of the morning to you Doug! With the mirror, I need to get the angle just right or I end up part of the picture. I use my iPhone 7+ on a mini tripod, which holds the camera steady. The Silvertip D01 knot has more balls (backbone) than any of my other knots.

    A little rough
This was my first time with MW Irish Traveler, and it provides very creamy and slick lather, but the shave was rough due to a dud blade. I do wish the scent was stronger, but otherwise it was fine.

    "Vernacular? That a derby!"

I uploaded this clip specifically for this post. Taken from one of my favorite Curly interactions. In fact, when I hear the word "vernacular", I think of this.

Today's shave was excellent. The scent of Margarita makes me miss summer already. The pearlex sailed right into bbs harbor. Finished with the matching balm.

    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick I1 injector
    Brush: Vulfix 2006c badger
    Lather: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG, touch-up

Wow - what a shave! This is one of the best shaves I've had since committing to wet shaving. Several factors made it so - terrific, slick, and protective lather; the Schick I1, and multiple passes. As y'all know I usually just do one pass with touch-up. I had more time this morning and added the XTG pass and then touched up in some spots ATG. My face can't handle multiple passes every day, so I do this on occasion. Man, it sure makes a difference.

This is a sample of Stirling Ozark Mountain. The scent reminds me of Christmas and the holidays. I'm going to use it a good bit this month.

Have a great day everyone, and ROLL TIDE this afternoon as the Crimson Tide takes on the Gators.

A successful 3 pass shave today. A "Wittes Rattler " I bought shave ready from an eBay seller over on the east coast of FL. It's really sharp and gave me my best shave yet, even my chin which is very tough. DFS/BBS, and no blood. I'm a happy camper today. Enjoy your shaves guys!
