I just scored this nice hand thrown bowl from our local Christmas boutique. $7.50 and the wife is happy as it will match the color of our bathroom. Once I finish stripping the old paint off. I will continue that fun tomorrow.

Matt from Deruitem Shaving on Etsy has built a couple of brushes for me now. He is an excellent craftsman, and takes a lot of care in his work. I am very pleased.

I whipped up a mean practice bowl of Tabac. Bowl works great.

So far Santa has been treating me pretty well. First I receive a New BSB-1 synthetic from Juan. Yesterday the the Postman delivered my Oristo Cocoa DE. The Oristo was Kickstater campaign coming out of Canada. This mornings shave had an international flavor. Oristo Razor out of Canada, MWF from England, BSB-1 brush from Spain and Super Iridium blade from Russia.

Got me a new 8lb 0 oz 21 and 5/8" grandson at 2:23am. Can't wait to hand down a DE to Emmitt when he is old enough
