Well said Mike. We really need to keep our Home open. This is by far the best Forum out there. So lets get a ticket or two. I do not expect to win. I can tell you it is a blast following this thread once The Queen starts pulling numbers. I try to guess what the person is going to pick. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have some items for a future raffle, but: 1. How do I donate them? 2. Sorry, I can't produce a photo of them, but I'll do my best to describe.
Paul, that's the spirit! When you are ready to donate them, just describe them in the raffle thread. Her Majesty can add them to the list of items. When someone wins and selects one of your items, they will PM their shipping address to you.
I agree with the previous post regarding the purchase of tickets. Donation of items is nice, but for the same price it'll cost you to ship, you could buy a ticket and that $$ will go a long way towards survivability of TSD.
oh ok....seems easy enough. I better file these instructions under MOST VITAL. . Thanks, Charlie. y'know, it appears to me that the guy in front of the "winner" is beginning to fall asleep out of being too tired to try(to win). you really DO want that Kent, doncha?????????? Not if I have something to say about it..
I've been a non-drinker since college days, but there was a wine called Valpolicella(sp), that I really liked. Wonder if it's still around.
There is a lot of quality schwag being donated. I definitely wouldn't use it all this month. If you can do monthly raffles with 3-5 winners, this current crop should sustain a number of months.
Actually, it's a viticultural zone, not a grape variety. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valpolicella (Don't ask me what a viticultural zone is, I just read the stuff, not understand it.)
