    Barbasol Arctic Chill, EverReady brush
    '59 Gillette 195 on 9 & Ladas SS blade
Alum, Aqua Velva Ice Blue Aftershave

Chilly here on the South Coast. Sorry about all that moisture headed North. Another 3 or 5 months it'll be Spring time, right?
Went for an easy lather today. A shot of over fluffy foam in the bowl punched down for better creaminess and applied with a brush. Kept the Fat Boy on nine for all three passes. This is the bicycle I know how to ride and will never forget. Gives a DFS+ every time with rarely an error. Quiet on the alum front, with cooling waves of AS. Now to put on my boots and get out to greet the mud.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Yes- I saw your message and thanks. Haven't yet decided, but will review it(the Aspen), although upon earlier view I like it, as I said. Will get back to you :).

And this is how it works. My razor was due in on the 2nd. Hadn't updated on tracking since the first. I give myself a spanking good shave this morning, and look what shows up unannounced:[IMG]

The seller even loaded a new Chick blade prior to shipping. So here I sit, clean shaven and willing my beard to grow so I can see what all of you SE whisperers keep going on about. G series Schick. User grade but very clean. Ready to go and nothing to shave.

The postal service has only totally failed me once. However, it has missed the estimates on many occasions. I know that with some patience it usually shows up. Unless it is a bill. Those things arrive with amazing speed.

Yes indeed bills arrive early. On the other hand if it a check just forget about it arriving on time.

Brush: El Druida Mopane 2 Band
Soap: Maggard Razor Orange Menthol (Sample)
    Aftershave: Maggard Razor Orange Menthol

Finished off the Maggard soap (sample) and happy to say I was very happy with it. Another 3 passes with a clean up and all is good. A change in the weather last night. We got a little snow.

    December 5 SOTD:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    C.O. Bigelow SC
    Gillette Fatboy
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Proraso AS

My morning shave was great. I sure do enjoy the Fatboy, it is supposed have a great shaver. Iamay still using the Rapira PL blade, and after four shaves it is still going strong. It was a light Menthol Monday with the C.O. Bigelow and Proraso AS, which was just fine on a cool morning in SE Texas.

I will give the FB one more shave then on to the Slim. I hope everyone has a great day!

Neal, how do Perma-Sharp Super DE blades compare with the other St. Pete blades? This blade was a close contender to the Polsilver Super Iridiums when I read the reviews. Do you think I'll see much difference between the Astra SPs and the Polsilvers, and would the Perma-Sharps really shave much different than those two?

    Благодаря!

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

I haven't used the Perma Sharps as much as the Astras. Same for the Polsilvers but I have used them both enough to know that they are very high quality blades. I think Astra will be the smoothest of the three, but with those blades it's a bit of a "smoother by minuscule degree" thing. Perma Sharps have an excellent reputation and I haven't seen a bad review. They're worth giving a try as I know a few guys who use them as their everyday blade over every other Russian out there. Yes, including Voskhod.
