Is that a plastic bottle of Floid Blue Joseph? How do you find using that thing you use ( not sure what to call it) to apply the aftershave?

My Russian Paketa (Rocket) has been on my mind so it came out today despite having only a little over a day's growth. It proved itself once again as a great razor - sharp, smooth, efficient, easy to handle. I can see it being my go-to razor when in doubt. James Bond used a Russkie so it's got that going for it, too.

Whenever I use this Derbylux cream I know I'm going to get great lather with a good menthol feeling, as well as excellent skincare. I also love the scent. The Shambala aftershave is one of the nicest I've ever had and it's very cooling.

I'm not sure why, but during the past couple of weeks, I've been getting some of the best shaves ever, no matter what razor/blade combo I use. And today was no exception with the Slim. A very smooth and excellent three pass BBS shave, even after applying the after shave, not a hint of sting, which is very unusual for me. All I can say is, keep 'em coming.

 

You are observant. I used to switch around between 2 or 3 or 4 different soaps but have moved to just using what works and staying with it. That said, I'll probably start rotating in those partially used soaps and creams now and then so they don't go bad waiting to be used.

Glass Bottle and a matching atomizer. I like it because you can apply a fine mist where you want it and not have to touch your face. Plus, it looks cool!

The Arko Shaving Stick face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #61 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Sheraton with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Bottle looks very cool. I'll have to try one of those atomizers. It probably save on the amount of aftershave you use also. Good idea.

 

Maybe not save, but you won't spill it down the drain or waste it on your hands.

Had a fairly decent shave this evening, despite these Voskhod blades not working too well for my liking. The scent of Hallows is amazing and whipped up a creamy lather. Ended up with a smooth shave but have a few red spots which are either ingrown hairs or nicks. The Chatillon Lux salve feels nice and moisturizing although I'm not too sure about this particular scent. Hope everyone had a great shave !
